We observe that people's generous behavior in experiments such as in dictator games. However, one fundamental question against the evidence is that does the behavior come from pure generosity or concern about social image? To behaviorally distinguish these two motivations, I developed an axiomatic model in which two real numbers capture concern about social image and pure generosity separately.
