Social Science Conference
With support from the Linde Institute, Caltech will be hosting a conference on applications of Bayesian Methods in Microeconometric Modeling. Our goal is to bring together researchers working to develop and apply Bayesian methods to problems in industrial organization and quantitative marketing such as discrete choice, demand estimation, and inference in strategic models.
The conference will take place on Friday, September 6, 2013, with a dinner reception at the Caltech Athenaeum that evening. Participants are encouraged to arrive on the evening of Thursday, September 5, 2013, for an informal gathering over drinks and light snacks. There is no registration fee.
All events take place in the Steele Conference room 125 Steele Laboratory (map). Breakfast, coffee, and lunch will be served immediately outside of the conference room.
The Conference Program is now available.
