Michael Alvarez, PhD, Flintridge Foundation Professor of Political and Computational Social Science at Caltech and Co-Director, Linde Center for Science, Society, and Policy (LCSSP).
During this episode, Professor Alvarez will talk with Nevada County, California Clerk-Recorder/Registrar of Voters Natalie Adona, CERA, JD/MPA on her preparations for the upcoming election - straight from the frontlines. Following their approximately 30-minute discussion, we'll open the floor for questions of Clerk Adona and Professor Alvarez to create some constructive dialogue with real solutions to help everyone prepare for the 2024 U.S. elections.

Natalie Adona is the Clerk-Recorder/Registrar of Voters for the County of Nevada, California. She holds a BA from the University of California at Berkeley, a JD from the Washington College of Law at American University, and an MPA from the School of Public Affairs at American University.
She also holds a Certified Elections/Registration Administrator (CERA) certificate from Auburn University. Natalie is a member of the California Association of Clerks and Election Officials and the County Recorders' Association of California.
