Chen Institute Symposium 2021
The 2021 Chen Institute Symposium will take place virtually over two days, Thursday, January 28 and Friday, January 29. Each day will consist of 30 minute talks from leading neuroscientists; the talks will cover an array of topics and there will be an opportunity for Q&A.
AGENDA
The symposium will begin with a keynote address at 10:00AM on Thursday, January 28, from award winning neuroscientist, Ann Graybiel. Dr Graybiel is an Institute Professor at MIT and is a faculty member of the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences and Investigator at the McGovern Institute for Brain Research. Graybiel is an expert on the basal ganglia and the neurophysiology of habit formation, her talk is titled Making Decisions Based on Value: Mood States and Brain Circuits.
