Caltech Roundtable: Writing Popular Books about Science

Come hear three Caltech professors, who have written successful books about science for non-experts, discuss the challenges and rewards of their writing:

• Sean Carroll, Research Professor of Physics, The Particle at the End of the Universe: How the Hunt for the Higgs Boson Leads Us to the Edge of a New World
• Mike Brown, Richard and Barbara Rosenberg Professor and Professor of Planetary Astronomy, How I Killed Pluto and Why It Had It Coming
• Hiroshi Ooguri, Fred Kavli Professor of Theoretical Physics and Mathematics, Introduction to Superstring Theory
