The Division of the Humanities and Social Sciences at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) invites applications for one or more tenure track positions in economics at the assistant professor level. Exceptionally well-qualified individuals at the associate or full professor level may also be considered. The social science faculty pursues interdisciplinary research at the intersection of economics, political science, psychology, neuroscience, history, law, and public policy. We are seeking highly qualified candidates who are committed to a career in research and teaching. The term of initial appointment is normally four years, if untenured, and is contingent upon completion of the Ph.D.
